- AdventHealth Foundation Central Florida

AdventHealth has been blessed by our community’s kindness and philanthropic spirit. One hundred percent of every dollar entrusted to AdventHealth Foundation Central Florida directly impacts those we serve in and beyond our hospital walls.
Each gift, large or small, plays an essential role in helping deliver whole-person health care by supporting the mind, body and spirit of each patient.
In 2019 alone, we had over 13,700 donors and 168,914 in total gift donations.
Many donors give at an annual fund level of less than $10,000, while some can invest millions through major gifts. Our internal culture of giving is evidenced by the large number of AdventHealth employees who make contributions through the 1908 Society. An increasing number of donors decided to leave a legacy through a planned gift such as a will, trust, bequest, retirement account or estate gift.
One way many businesses and individuals like to give back is by participating in an event. Our most successful event in 2019 also happens to be the largest fundraising event in Central Florida. Golden Gala XXXIX raised an astounding $1.7 million to support essential programs at AdventHealth along with the Vascular Center of Excellence, benefiting pediatric and adult patients at AdventHealth Cardiovascular Institute. The new vascular program can help detect, protect and treat patients before a possibly life-threatening incident occurs. We are so grateful for all the community members, sponsors and patients who played a role in making this event a huge success.
You’ve been a part of our journey of feeling whole and helping others gain that same feeling for their life. At the beginning of this year, Florida Hospital became AdventHealth. Although our name has changed, our mission has stayed the same, to extend the healing ministry of Christ.
To fulfill this mission to the best of our ability, our community joined together to surpass our 2019 fundraising goals with over $24 million!
We are grateful to every individual, family and organization that enables us to provide exceptional, life-changing care to the community. Thank you for your healing generosity.
