Life can be unpredictable. When your plans change or you find yourself facing an unexpected medical emergency, you need dependable care — and you need it fast.
At AdventHealth Dade City, you’ll receive emergency care from expert physicians in an emergency room designed to deliver speed, efficiency and comfort. One way that we deliver prompt care and diagnosis is with our new, dedicated 128-slice computed tomography (CT) system that has been conveniently and strategically placed within our 24/7 emergency room. This allows the care team at AdventHealth Dade City to detect and identify your condition, so you get diagnosed and treated faster.
“This CT Scanner helps us deliver a fast and confident diagnosis for our patients in an emergency and acute care setting; especially when examining patients with acute chest pain, abdominal pain and suspicion of stroke. It also has the capability to safely accommodate patient of all sizes, from children to bariatric patients” remarked Amanda Martin, the hospital’s Administrative Director of Clinical Services. “We can even review the results before the patient has left the table, allowing us to promptly determine treatment options.”
AdventHealth Dade City is proud to invest in the latest imaging technology to better serve our patients in an emergency. “This scanner helps our technologists spend more time focusing on our patients,” Martin said, “By investing in a new 128-slice CT scanner, patients receive high-quality exams without having to travel too far from home – when every second matters.”
