AdventHealth Parker and AdventHealth Porter have earned the prestigious five-star rating from the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) for 2024. Annually, CMS assigns star ratings to hospitals across the U.S., with five stars being the highest score. There are five quality categories that are measured, including mortality, safety of care, readmission, patient experience, and timely and effective care.
This year, 381 hospitals received this ranking nationwide with 17 of those hospitals being in Colorado. This ranking system allows patients to compare local facilities to make more informed decisions about where they choose to receive care.
“AdventHealth Parker's 5-star rating is a testament to our unwavering commitment to delivering exceptional patient care,” said AdventHealth Parker CMO, Dr. Devin Bateman. “This top-tier rating signifies our dedication to providing our community with the highest standards of quality, safety, and patient experience.”
AdventHealth Porter is proud to once again pair this designation with their Leapfrog grade ‘A’. “Both these ratings reflect our commitment to providing high-quality care to our patients and community,” said AdventHealth Porter CMO, Dr. M-A Williams. “We are one of only four hospitals in AdventHealth nationwide to hold both of these distinctions.”
Thank you to our team members, physicians, APPs and leaders at AdventHealth Parker and AdventHealth Porter for their hard work and dedication to clinical excellence. Congratulations on receiving this impressive designation which reinforces the incredible, whole person care you provide each day.
