Gordon Hospitals 10th Annual Ladies Night will be held on Thursday, October 6 at the Sonoraville Recreation Complex. This highly-anticipated community event for women will be held from 6 to 8 pm. with free admission.
Ladies Night is held to increase awareness of women's health issues while providing the women in our community with a fun night out. With the stresses of everyday life, it is easy to ignore our health. This event acts as a reminder that nutrition, exercise, stress, and rest affect our lives in numerous ways.
During the evening, Gordon Hospital will offer free health screenings and assessments, along with fun and informational booths to emphasize the importance of the health issues women face.
Professional Disc Jockey Donny Holmes will provide music during the evening while attendees visit each booth. A buffet of heavy hors d'oeuvres, a photo booth, and door prizes will also be provided.
This event is held to celebrate Breast Cancer Awareness Month, so attendees will receive important information on breast cancer including prevention and early detection. Attendees will also get their blood pressures checked and learn about cardiovascular risk, sleep, and body fat content.
