Beckers Healthcare names Adventist Health System, which includes Manchester Memorial Hospital, among 150 Great Places to Work in Healthcare.
Manchester, KY Adventist Health System, which includes Manchester Memorial Hospital (MMH), was recognized in Beckers Healthcare's 2016 150 Great Places to Work in Healthcare list. The list of organizations features both U.S. health care provider organizations as well as other types of health care specific companies.
To be recognized once again as a great place to work in health care is an honor, said Erika Skula, CEO of the hospital. Our employees' commitment to Extending the Healing Ministry of Christ can be seen not only in their interactions with patients but also in the supportive work environment they create each day.
The organizations included in this years list were chosen based on recognition previously earned for workplace excellence, as well as benefits offerings, wellness initiatives, and efforts to improve professional development, diversity and inclusion, work-life balance and a sense of community among employees.
In honoring Adventist Health System, Beckers Hospital Review noted that employee benefits vary from campus to campus but system-wide benefits include a tuition reimbursement program, company-paid flu shots and cafes with healthy menu options.
