ORANGE CITY, Fla., January 21, 2016 Florida Hospital Fish Memorial has promoted Donna Olsen to information services manager.
In this role, she oversees the hospitals technical staff and is responsible for the successful implementation of all information services initiatives.
I believe that my education and past experience within the healthcare IT industry has been instrumental in developing leadership and communication abilities, Olsen said. I am excited to use this knowledge to collaborate and bring forward innovative ideas to help the hospital implement and maintain projects effectively so we can continue to fulfill our mission of extending the healing ministry of Christ.
Olsen has been with Florida Hospital for nearly nine years. She previously served as lead end user computing specialist for Florida Hospital Fish Memorial in which she was responsible for leading staff on day-to-day technical activities, troubleshooting technical difficulties for hospital employees, improving processes, and maintaining accurate inventory levels.
A DeLand resident, Olsen holds a Bachelor of Science in Information Technology. In May, she is expected to graduate with a Master of Science in Healthcare Informatics and become a Certified Professional in Healthcare Information and Management Systems (CPHIMS).
