ORANGE CITY, Fla., March 26, 2018 AdventHealth Fish Memorial has selected Tammy Land to serve as the patient experience manager.
In this role, Land is responsible for developing and implementing improvement strategies and operations for the 175-bed facility, as well as providing high-level consulting and coaching to employees.
Land has nearly 35 years of nursing experience, all of which has been with AdventHealth. Most recently, she served as director of patient access for AdventHealth’s Hospice of the Comforter, providing compassionate care for those experiencing end of life decisions. In this role, Land managed the registered nursing team for patient access and admission, as well as coordinated the team for hospice care at home for a 350-patient census at Hospice of the Comforter in Altamonte Springs.
A Longwood resident, Land earned a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Chamberlain University College of Nursing.
In addition, she earned PCCN certification from the American Association of Critical-Care Nurses. This specialty credential denotes certification in adult progressive care nursing and validates the knowledge and expertise of nurses providing direct care to acutely ill adult patients.
Land has been a Basic Life Support and CPR Instructor since 2003.
In 1990, she received the Nurse Leader of the Year award.
