In a sport historically dominated by men, AdventHealth, the Daytona International Speedway, Women in Motorsports North America (WIMNA) and Jostens honored three remarkable women with the SHEro award for their significant contributions to motorsports: Lindsey Londono, Rachel Reile and Jennifer Young.

Londono, the nursing manager of the two AdventHealth Care Centers and nine first aid stations at Daytona International Speedway has led the clinical operations of the care centers for nine years. Her work ensures that NASCAR’s marquee events, along with over a dozen other annual events at the Speedway, run smoothly. Under her leadership, the AdventHealth Care Centers treat over 5,000 patients each year, free of charge, making quality health care accessible to the community during race weekends and beyond.
“This award is more than simply acknowledging excellence in motorsports – it is about celebrating the trailblazing women who are shaping the future and driving change in this sport,” said Audrey Gregory, Ph.D., RN, Executive Vice President and CEO of the AdventHealth East Florida Division. “These women are paving the way for the next generation as they remind us there is a place for women in every corner of this sport, from the track to the critical roles that make race day possible.”
“When I think of the incredible women in motorsports, Lindsey Londono is one of the first to come to mind. Her dedication and commitment to providing life-changing medical care in our centers is unmatched in the industry,” said Erik Nason, AdventHealth senior manager of sports medicine outreach. “As a female leader, she is a role model for so many women working alongside her in this unique environment. It is an honor to celebrate Lindsey with this well-deserved SHEro award!”
Rachel Reile, manager of venue operations at Daytona International Speedway, celebrated her two-year anniversary with the company yesterday, Aug. 22, and has already made her mark on the sport. Reile has been an unsung hero to Daytona’s success. In the wake of Hurricane Ian in 2022, she meticulously documented the impacts and repairs across the Daytona International Speedway property. She has recently led the installation of five AdventHealth Mothers’ Nursing Rooms at Daytona International Speedway and has coordinated upgrades to club and concourse furniture and other fan amenities.
Jennifer Young, senior director of operations at Daytona International Speedway, has spent 20 years as an employee of Daytona and has a hand in nearly every event that takes place at the Speedway, including managing the World Center Of Racing’s busy track calendar. She works tirelessly at the facility to coordinate the operational logistics for major partners, including many of AdventHealth’s special events held at the track during throughout the year.

“When it comes to operating an internationally known venue such as Daytona International Speedway, I can honestly say we couldn’t do it without the help of all these amazing women. I have personally witnessed both Jennifer and Rachel prepare and execute some of the biggest live events in all of sports, and the next day, they’ll show up to work yet another event at DIS – whether it be a community fundraiser or track rental – with an undeniable level of excellence.” said Daytona International Speedway President Frank Kelleher. “Their dedication to making sure The World Center of Racing is always ready to embrace our fans and drivers alike is what this award embodies, and their kindness and hard work makes spending the race weekends with them all the more enjoyable.”
The SHEro award program, now in its second year, invites team members, track management, and industry professionals to nominate women who have made outstanding contributions to motorsports.
The initiative not only celebrates these women but also supports WIMNA’s mission and contributes to efforts that promote gender diversity in the industry.
"We are thrilled to recognize these three remarkable women as SHEro Award honorees. Their unwavering dedication and significant contributions have elevated their fields and paved the way for future generations of women in motorsports. The SHEro Award is about celebrating trailblazers who inspire and lead by example, and these recipients truly embody the essence of what this recognition represents," said Cindy Sisson, Executive Director of WIMNA.
