Colorado native Anna Matthews, MSN, APRN, AGACNP-BC, is a board-certified advanced practice registered nurse. Anna began her nursing career in emergency medicine. After graduating from the University of Northern Colorado with her Master of Science in Nursing degree with a special focus on adult and gerontology acute care, she completed a rigorous fellowship at University of Colorado Hospital in hospitalist medicine, going on to work as a cardiac surgery nurse practitioner. Anna’s diverse specialties have provided her with excellent experience caring for a variety of cardiac conditions, which has become her passion.
