Biography

Kenneth Kaplan, MD, FACOG, is passionate about OB/GYN services. He appreciates the ability to provide continuity of care by supporting patients through their health journeys. He helps his patients with general GYN, prenatal care, delivery, postpartum support, and menopause management. Dr. Kaplan provides services for the following conditions including general OB/GYN care, abnormal PAPs, and chronic vaginitis. He also performs these specific procedures: laparoscopy, hysteroscopy, colposcopy, contraceptive procedures (IUD insertion and removal, Nexplanon insertion and removal), endometrial biopsies, word catheter placement for Bartholin Abscesses, and circumcisions for newborn boys.



Dr. Kaplan attended Sackler School of Medicine for his MD. He received a BA in biology from Brandeis University and completed coursework in molecular cell biology towards a masters from Long Island University Graduate School. Dr. Kaplan completed his residency at Mt. Sinai Services/Queens Hospital Center.



Dr. Kaplan trains in martial arts and holds a 2nd Degree Black Belt in Kyokushin-kan Karate. Outside of his martial arts training, he prioritizes family activities. He also enjoys skiing, hiking, and traveling.
